Our dear friends Seth, Shell, and Jane Pierce moved to Mexico on December 28th...but before they left we enjoyed a wonderful evening with them and some of our mutual friends. It was a cold evening and we decided to cook two different soups: butternut squash soup and carrot, potato curry soup... they officially dubbed us the "soup nazis"! Our kids had a blast playing together. Elijah especially loved playing with his sweet Janey girl (they were best buds when we lived in Boone.) They will be in Puebla, Mexico for at least two years while Seth attends the University taking some graduate classes. They are familiar with Puebla because he did a year of his undergraduate studies there as well. I admire so many things about Seth and Shell. They have humble, servant hearts, they live a very simple lifestyle, they make big leaps of faith, they trust in God's provision...and so much more. Thank you for your friendship; it is truly life-giving and inspiring. You are an example to all that know you. We love you guys!
